Above: Laura found this remarkable photograph online. “The Gorton family (Arthur, Ester,
Minnie and Samuel) of Rose Lodge go for a swim in Devil’s Lake in 1923”. Laura’s grandmother
(who passed away before Laura was born), was Minnie Gorton. Devil’s Lake is just off Highway
