               Gorman. Mr. Gorman took over yard and mill I to look and see if any trouble arose from

               among the discharge all quit and most of the unemployed having left seeking employment

               else where. I thought myself as drawer of pay for which I gave no service, left for

               Irvinton, Warren Co. Pa. where I started handle factory in partnership with S.

               Peterson, Plant known as Peterson and Poulsen. I left Irvington for a lucertive fee a

               second     and my travel down the Alleghany River to Pittsburg then along the Ohio

               River down to or near Kentucky on the West Virginia side at Ravenwood, Jackson co. and

               Mr. Crooks Geo from Irvington Pa. meet me, He brought a track of timber land and

               offer me a chance to saw it at regular sawing rate for which he would pay and I to have

               the land as a gift clear when the timber was cut off. I have decided to for this is the

               place for handle factory, and on the 3rd day of June 1881, Landed at Round Hill,

               Virginia on the 11 day of August 1883 I enter into partnership with Miss Mary Alice

               Lunsford and here I am at this writing May 1st 1935.

               Finally, the park name proposal included documents referencing the Poulsen
               name in the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service
               “National Register of Historic Places” for the Round Hill Historic District.
