there. You must have seen the cherry tree. Did you ever see a
house over there?

I remember when we walked up the railroad grade past your
place. I don’t know what year that was, but you remember that
because you told me you did. Betty used to do a lot of fishing
in the river, didn’t she? Did you do much fishing? When we were
small she used to come up to our place a lot, to play with us.
Have you heard from Betty lately? How is she doing now? I guess
she doesn’t write much.
