                          couple had three sons and two daughters. He left Oshkosh for Waupaca County prior to
                          1860. In 1863 he lived in South Dakota and by 1870 had moved the family to Ouachita
                          Parish, Louisiana. The family returned to Wisconsin by 1876 and by 1880 were living in
                          Marquette County, Michigan. He was the Guest of Honor during the Oshkosh
                          Semicentennial in 1903. He died in Hermansville, MI in 1905.
