               Fisher’s Pharmacy



               The following is a rare photograph of Fisher’s Pharmacy in downtown Port
               Angeles, WA. The photograph is so old that the print is metallic in nature. A

               team of horses is seen pulling up to the store front. “City Hotel” next door is
               dated “1891”. Look closely (with a magnifying glass) and you will see that
               you can also get “School Books”, “Stationary” and “Paints and Oils” at the
               pharmacy as well.



















































               Then go inside the pharmacy in the next photograph. It shows proprietor E.E.
               Fisher, “Pe-Te” (my great-grandfather) sitting inside his drug store. This is a
               great photograph because it shows in rich detail the time period. It is just as you
               might imagine a drug store to look like back then: drugs on the left, sweets and
