A history of the pharmacy can be found in the Letters, Postcards and Clippings
section of this document in a section titled “Fisher Pharmacy Closes”. The
following photograph is its final location at 118 Front Street. Notice the cat in
the doorway looking up at “Pete”.
The following is a picture postcard that shows George Taylor, a pharmacist that
“Pete” hired in 1914. Interestingly, George also appears in several “fishing”
pictures with “Pete” although I didn’t have a name for him until I found this
photograph with a caption and the newspaper clipping that confirmed it.
