Street. The death certificate – almost 2 years later – gives place of death as

               104 38th Street.

There are several possibilities – one being that she may not have died at

home – or they may have moved in the interim between the pension application and

               Catherine Corgans death.

I am sending a request to the caretaker of Oakwoods Cemetery – for a

copy of the burial record. I have a recent city street map of Chicago. Oakwoods

Cemetery is listed – and appears to be situated closer to 38th Street than other

cemeteries. I will let you know what information the burial record reveals.

As for the cemetery lots at Ocean View – If you will have a quit claim

deed prepared I will sign it. I have a lot next to my mother (on the east side of

Ocean View) that my stepfather deeded to me a couple years before he died.

There is no reason for me to confuse my survivors by having more than one

cemetery lot. So I would be pleased to have you and Don use these decide the

eventual use of the Corgan lots.

For legal purposes I use the name Alantha Joan Fisher Matson.

               Love to all –

               Joan

[Note: I don’t have the death certificate mentioned in the letter. I have attempted to locate a
burial record in Oakwoods Cemetery (and elsewhere). So far – no success. Stephen]
