Letters, Postcards, Clippings

sending you a present. I didn’t have to buy it. I can’t think of anything I want or

need so I don’t want anybody to buy me anything. Since I came to Seattle I lost

all interest in gardening. I haven’t done a thing in the yard, and I don’t cook or

keep house, but I’m busy all the time. I don’t know what I do, I can’t see that I

have done anything, but I’m always busy. I go to Pension meetings once a month. I

had to go for all kinds of physical tests, twice a month, and sometimes I visit all

the 10 Cent stores. Everywhere I go I have to take the bus and sometimes

transfer to another. It is hard for me to find my way around in the big city, and

a couple of times I got lost, but I always managed to get home somehow. I can’t

think of anything more to write about now, so will close with love to you all from

               Grandma.

Give my best regards to Don’s folks and the Hendricksons
