those babies need lots of attention. She is tired most of the time and has no time

for herself. That’s why she don’t write often. I got home Jan 8th. When I

weighed myself I was shocked to find I had gained 14lb. After I was home a

couple of weeks I had to go to the hospital to have an operation for a tumor. I

was in the hospital 3 weeks and there I lost 10 of the 14 lb. The cut healed up

nicely and I have recovered completely from the operation and am feeling fine

now. Thanks for the picture. I like it fine. I like the whole family on one

picture. I expect you all had a nice Christmas too. I don’t remember if I ever

told you that Nell’s daughter and her husband are living with us. They both

work and Nell keeps house for all of us because Nell can’t work anymore. Her

health is poor. The husband had a birthday on March 28 and mine was on March

29, so we had a celebration for both of us. We had a big birthday cake and ice

cream and I got some presents. I got a pot plant from Art, a box of chocolate

bars from Nell and a pair of pretty earrings from Elaine that’s her daughter,

she has lots of jewelry. I am now 75 years young. Spring is here and the sun is

shining. We didn’t have hardly any snow here this winter. If I was in Port

Angeles now I would be out in the yard working my head off. I miss the flowers

and shrubs but I don’t miss the work. Since I moved here, I lost all interest in

gardening. Letter writing is getting to be hard work for me. That’s why I don’t

write unless I have something to write about which isn’t often. I hope you and the

               family are all well.

                       Love to all
