you can get useful information for your genealogy from almost anywhere. I

was able to add and verify several important “facts” based on information
found on this postcard – note the mentioned birthday and age as well as a very
easy to read postmark. My mother wrote in pencil on the card “Paul Poulsen’s
home in R. Hill - Virginia …”. He lived there as a boy but when this card was
sent, he lived in Port Angeles, WA. Niels still lived in this house though (and

others). It only cost a penny to mail it back then! Stephen
