Fernandes, Walter James
Walter James Fernandes
Walter James Fernandes, 54, of
Pysht, died here Thursday. Funeral
services will be held 1pm Wednesday
at Harper Funeral Home with the
Rev. Elbert Harlow officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Angeles
Cemetery.
He was born Mar 12, 1911 to Mr. and
Mrs. Antone Fernandes at Pysht and
attended school there. Following
school he worked on the Fernandes
farm. Later he worked at the Snyder
Ranger Station and at Merrill and
Ring Tree Farm.
In 1942 he entered the Army and
remained in the service until 1952.
