Poulsen, Athelene A.
ATHELENE A. POULSEN
A memorial service for Athelene A.
Poulsen, 82, a member of one of the
early-day families in the Port Angeles
area, is scheduled for 8 and 10 a.m.
Sunday at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal
Church. The Rev. David Storm will
officiate.
Mrs. Poulsen died Wednesday in Port
Angeles. She resided at 214 W.
Second St. Cremation was at Mt.
Angeles Memorial Park with Harper
Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
She was born April 2, 1894, in Port
Angeles to Mr. And Mrs. Elmer
Fisher. Her father was the first
druggist in Port Angeles.
Mrs. Poulsen was a member of St.
Andrew’s Guild.
She is survived by two sons, Donald
Poulsen of Vancouver, Wash., and
Paul E. Poulsen of Sacramento, Calif.;
10 grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be
made to St. Andrews Episcopal
Church.
