Sometime after being given a copy of this picture, I found a ship’s record
showing the travelers returning to America – apparently by way of crossing the
border from Canada.
Left: An amber pin along with a hand-written note from
Margaret Stange Pontine-Snyder. She loved jewelry and
some of it, including this pin, have been passed on to
family members.
