Stanley, Chester

Chester Stanley

CLOVERDALE – Chester Stanley, 51,
died yesterday morning at the
Healdsburg General Hospital, where
he was taken Friday.

Funeral services will be held at the
Edna Gorden Chapel, Cloverdale, at 2
p.m. tomorrow, with the Rev.
Elizabeth C. Zartman officiating. The
body will be taken to Port Angeles,
Wash., for burial in the Mount
Angeles Cemetery.

Mr. Stanley was born March 14,
1902, in Columbia Falls, Mont. He
came to Cloverdale 4 years ago from
Enumclaw, Wash., where he had
been a farmer. He was a stockholder
in Coastal Plywood and Timber Co.,
where he worked as a fireman until
he became ill a year ago.

He was a member of the Reorganized
Church of Latter Day Saints. He is
survived by his widow, Elizabeth
Stanley; 2 sons, Robert and Gregory,
all of Cloverdale; a daughter, Mrs.
D.N. Poulsen, Port Angeles; and three
grandchildren, David, Mark and
Stephen Poulsen.

Two brothers, Elmer Stanley, Libby,
Mont., and Henry Stanley, Auburn,
Wash., also survive.
