Stanley, Fannie
Fannie Stanley
Mrs. Fannie Stanley, 60 died
suddenly at 6:00 p.m. Monday at her
home, 940 West Fifth Street. Funeral
arrangements will be announced
later by the Christman Mortuary,
their completion pending receipt of
word from relatives.
Mrs. Stanley whose maiden name
was Miss Fannie M. Clark, was born
at Trenton, Utah on April 8, 1877.
She was married to Albert W. Stanley
at Teton City, Idaho, January 4, 1894.
Four children were born to the union
– Mrs. Pearl Hendrickson and Henry,
Elmer and Chester Stanley, all of who
live in Port Angeles and were at their
mother’s bedside when the end
came. Also surviving are eight
grandchildren and two brothers and
two sisters.
The Stanleys came to Port Angeles in
1922 from the Yakima Valley and
have made their home here since.
Mrs. Stanley was a member of the
Reorganized Church of the Latter Day
Saints. She was a loving wife and
mother and had a large circle of
friends who mourn her passing.
Many of the children among her
acquaintances knew her familiarly as
“Grandma”.
The surviving brother and sisters are
George Clark of Spokane, J.G. Clark of
Kellogg, Idaho, and Mrs. Clara
McDole and Mrs. Girsel Wilson of
Tucson, Arizona.
