Technically, the Anniversary of the First Thanksgiving is next year …
So … even though my hopes were dashed for having definitive proof of our
Mayflower heritage this year … next year (2021), is really the anniversary of
the first Thanksgiving. As I learned from all my Mayflower book reading, the
Pilgrims didn’t have their big feast until the year following their arrival!
Proof … maybe next year?
